The new 4,900-capacity KB Hallen in Copenhagen will be operated in a joint venture by Nordisk Film, a subsidiary of the country's largest media firm Egmont, and German pan-Europe ticketing company CTS Eventim.
The venue is due to open in 2018 and the partners intend to re-establish itself as one of the area's leading concert destinations.
The original KB Hallen was destroyed by fire in 2011. It had hosted shows featuring artistes such as the Rolling Stones and The Beatles, and more recently Radiohead and Katy Perry.
