UNITED STATES Six men have been charged after an international cybercrime ring gained access to the accounts of more than 1,600 US customers of eBay-owned resale site StubHub, and used their details to buy thousands of tickets.
The $1 million scam came to light in March 2013 and involved the fraudulent buying and reselling of electronic tickets for shows by acts such as Justin Timberlake, Jay Z and Elton John, as well as high-profile sporting events. Read more
