Former multi-festival owner Vince Power has been banned from staging live music events in the UK following a licence dispute with royalty collection body PRS for Music.
The not-for-profit organisation told London's High Court that Power, who still owns a stake in Spain's Benicassim (cap. 40,000) festival, had been operating without a PRS licence when holding the 50,000-capacity Hop Farm Music Festival in Kent from 2009 to 2012.
